I can't figure out the new search function

Has anyone been able to get this thing to work? I am very frustrated.

Check out the "Search: Observations, issues" Thread on the Tech Support Forum. Post reactions/questions there. If the BoardTracker system is not experiencing some technical difficulties, there are some work-arounds/ways to access your needed info.
For instance...if you're trying to find posts by another user, left-click on a poster's nick (over there on the left-hand sied where our nick's appear in a thread), a drop-down menu will appear, you can then click on "Find all posts by user".
There will be other work-arounds posted in that thread.

Be aware...the BoardTracker system is mostly designed to take a load off of a website's servers, searches are done independently of its clients websites. BT is not designed to work the same way the DIS/Search used to work(I'm not sure it will *ever* have the user-friendly(but "server-intensive") capabilities of the old Search function).
