What are you looking for? What's important?
On property or off?
Distance.
Price.
Room Size.
Room Styles.
Pools.
Free Breakfasts.
Shuttles.
Cleanliness.
Noise.

Give us some hints. :)

There a million hotels from seedy to fabulous. We need a few ideas of what you want before we recommend.

Hojo is a favorite on this board, especially if you can get the Entertainment rate!

Idk lol thats the problem. Off site. Around or less than 100.a night. Nice.. For two people. Maybe three.. Two adults and.a child.. Possible just one adult. id like it close to.the park.. Less.then 15.minute walk.

Does that help?

Ok going on knowing nothing about what you're looking for... if money isn't an object - Grand Californian. If it is? Park Vue is right across the street - shortest walk for an off site hotel, and it's fabulous, and has great amenities. :)

If you need under $100, you need something around $80-$87 because taxes and a possible parking/resort charge will bring it to $100.

You might look into the
Del Sol
Anaheim Plaza.

These are the closest that will get you under the $100 mark.

If you go further you will find nicer at the sub $100 prices. Look about 2 blocks from the park entrances.

hojos would be (and always is!) my choice.
10 min walk, pool, nice rooms with keurig machines, cheap (especially with entertainment rate!)

Off topic...but what is it with these coffee machines? I see DISers waxing poetic about them all the time, and I have no idea what they are.

I'm jumping in too - I'm trying to get my DH and DS15 agree to a one day trip to DLR when we visit San Diego in late March.

We stayed at the Hilton and Marriott before, and I currently have a ressie at the Marriott that includes a Disney $100 gift card (sure, the room cost is $219 plus tax, that includes parking and the card). Stayed at the Hilton before with a great VISA rate of $79, but no offer right now :(

But, I want to keep the cost around $150, close to the area and comfy beds since my DH has a back issue. Looking for suggestions. How's the Anabella? Everyone seems to love HOJO, are the beds comfy?

DH gets to golf for one day, I want my Disney Day!

Thanks!

It doesnt have to be under a 100 a night. but around that. I think I may be leaning towards Anabella. But I am just not sure.. Possibley WorldMark.. or Staybridge.. or Crap IDK! lol

Staybridge isn't within walking distance(well I'm sure it is but not a short one) though it is nice and has a big free breakfast. We stayed at the Fairfield in Dec and it was nice - no breakfast but a short walk.

hotel 06 is a cheap option if it is just adults. It is a little far from the park, Anaheim Resort Trasportation (ART), would be a option for you.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn last in June and were very happy with our stay.

If you don't mind the 15 minute walk and want to save some money then I would definitely recommend Americas Best Value Inn which is on Katella... Its closer than Annabella and includes free wifi, parking and breakfast..Its nothing flash but has nice pool, hottub and was very clean, we loved it most as it saved us over $1000. We got a one bedroom suite in August for around $80 per night.... If you can get the Entertainment rate at Hojos then that is hard to beat, its a little closer and has a huge fan base here. Also a little closer and also popular is Candy Cane Inn, they also include breakfast (Hojos doesn't) and they have a free shuttle... For the shortest walk try Park Vue Inn, that seems to be getting popular as well. Shop around and call the actual hotels for the best price...Even if just slightly out of season hotels are really keen to do deals...

I would recommend Anaheim Plaza if your not planning on spending too much time in your room, I loved how it was right across the street and really cheap.

Last year we stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites in a nice 2 bedroom suite. It was decent for the price and about a 15-20 minute walk which I liked. I ended up losing 5lbs that vacation cause I was walking so much! And I def was not eating healthy when I was there either, how can u when you're at disney right?? So I didn't mind the walking.

I would not stay at Anaheim Plaza again, the beds were awful and rooms were not very clean and there were long black hairs in my bath towels  (We had 2 adjoining rooms and they were both equally unsatisfactory)

If you are going over any of these dates http://www.hojoanaheim.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=14 I would choose Hojos. There are some good deals on Expedia right now too, $10 off per night with code frost11, my BIL just booked Fairfield Inn for $88/night with the code.

So pretty much no one has anything bad about HOJO's? I think a call there may be in order :)
