I can't believe I'm saying this but....

Well, we still have one on in our family! My DS was hoping the Wish would be delivered earlier in 2021, so he could celebrate his graduation. We booked Fantasy instead since it is his favorite current ship. Just saw that the Wish is being delivered for summer 2022, so I asked him if he would still want to go. His question was if he would have to pay for it. When I said, “no”, he said , “well, yeah!” My husband and I had been wondering if 2022 was going to be all four of us or just three. It looks like we will be four for at least one more year! :)

Our girls are about to turn 18 and 13, and we haven’t seen a hint of inclination to quit Disney nor DCL. Seems all they think about is our next family trip. Knock on wood; hope it lasts. We love our family time, and plan to bring extended family more and more over future years. This thread has me facing reality. It may not last forever...

I agree with the comments that boys leave in their early 20’s and come back very soon. In the interim, I bet they would love to bring a friend, perhaps on a more grown up cruise line.

our DD is now 23 and still loves to cruise with us. The only possible stumbling block for her now that she is full-time employed is that she doesn't have a ton of vacation/PTO time available which could prevent her from coming along on every cruise.
