Ok my DD and I were playing and she said mom lets be cheerleaders so She said do some stuff mom so I did a cartwheel and did the splits and a little cheer. I was shocked I could still do that after having 5 kids :rotfl2: :lmao:
Also I taught her and my son how to do a cartwheel they were so happy!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
This old mom can still move! :)

Wow!!

I've sometimes wondered if I could still do a cartwheel (I'm forty-ish) but the thought of my body turning upside down almost gets me nauseous!! I don't think my body would get all the way over.

I'm impressed!

I'm sure a cartwheel would put me out of commission! And I've NEVER been able to do the splits!

You still got it girl!! :cheer2:

Cheer on!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Oh, my word! I don't even think about trying to do any of this stuff these days... :lmao: Just thinking about trying gets my head to spinning...don't think I need to add the actual motion.... :lmao:

A few months ago, I tried a hand stand. :sad2: OMG every bone in my neck squashed like an accordian. The only thing that stopped me from crashing was that I did this on the sidewalk!!!

Good for you! My son goes to The Little Gym, and every session there is a "Parents Play" week where we have to go in with him and the request that we participate in order to see how difficult some of the things our little guys are doing, as well as to provide them with a boost of self confidence. Anyways, that was last week, so there I was, attempting (note, I said attempting) to do cartwheels and forward rolls. What was crazy was that there were some parents who were up on the bars doing flips and stuff! Boy, do I dread that week every session, but my little guy loves it, and I definately get a bigger respect for the things he does in there!

37 years old. Three kids. Three back handsprings in a row across the yard.

You are as young as you feel.

I hope they were impressed! I still do cartwheels, but have given up anything harder than that.

Ok now for anyone else who thinks they want to try doing a cartwheel, please make sure you stretch first, I pulled a hammy :lmao: :lmao: BUT I can do it !!!!

That's impressive !! I'm 42 and I think I can do it..... NOT !

:woohoo: Girl, you got it goin' on! I'm impressed. There is no way I could do a cartwheel without also doing a face-plant. And I couldn't do splits when i weighed 102lb, so I'm pretty sure it wouldn't go so well now. Bully for you, for giving it a try and wowing your kids. You must be the coolest mom on the block :cool1:

At our annual News Year Eve party at our house one of the mothers was doing cartwheels landing in the splits.

Of course this was after multiple glasses of scotch...

That's really cool! I can still do a cartwheel, but the only kind of splits I've ever been able to do involve bananas, 3 scoops, whipped cream and a cherry. :teeth:

Kimya

It's the best feeling. I've had three kids and I can still do the splits, handstands, and cartwheels.

My kids are all into doing them too. My 5yo is pretty good at them. He's great at headstands, he's working on handstands.
