If you pre-clear customs in Canada (at the larger airports) then you get it AFTER the "pretend monorail" if you need to clear customs in Orlando you'll need to get your bags BEFORE.

If you use the yellow Magical Express luggage tags, they'll get delivered to your resort!

Luggage pickup is in the main terminal which is after the tram ride and downstairs from the area where you disembark from the tram.

At least it takes you from the terminal to the outer pods.

I've yet to understand why they have a monorail inside Detroit-Wayne airport
