I was walking around my house barefoot last night when somehow my little toe got snagged on something and I heard it crack. First it didn't hurt so I thought it just popped. But about 2 minutes later, wow did it hurt.

This morning it's all purple and hurts alot :( At least it's the little toe so I can walk on the rest of my foot.

Lesson learned: don't walk around your house barefoot, or be very careful if you do! :(

OUCH! That just seems too painful! Sorry Deb! I know a cure though.... LOL;)

Yikes Debbie....I take my shoes of the second I walk in the door at my houes ....I hope it heals quickly... :)

:( I know your pain. My little toe found the ironing board a couple of months ago. I didn't think my toe would ever NOT be black and blue!

I hope it doesn't hurt too bad.:( Prop your foot up as much as possible. Get someone to cater to your every whim.;) I tried that, and I just got this guy:  .

Ouch! I did that a few months ago and know what you're feeling. Take lots of Advil, and wear athletic shoes as soon as the swelling goes down enough. It will help ensure that your toe heals the right way, since they can't put a cast on it.

Ouch, Deb!!! My DH is infamous for doing that, he's always injured, lol! Feel better soon!

*OUCH* I feel your pain Debbie, years ago I broke my little toe too and boy did it hurt. I think I actually saw stars when I did it and it turned so many shades of purple and green I lost count.

Sure hope your toe feels better real soon.

Been there. Done that. Got the bill from the ER to prove it. Toes have a way of healing pretty quickly. I hope your pain is minimal and that you'll be back to 100% real soon.

I hope it feels better soon.

Yowch!!!! That does hurt. I spent most of my childhood with at least one broken toe. I would stub one running up the stairs (yes, up), walking around the house, or just sitting (I was swinging my legs over the front porch rail, and hit my toe). Not to graceful was I!

I hope your pain is short. Pd to you!!!

Ouch, I'm so sorry that happened... I've done it to my toe twice (same toe within two months of the first time) I hope it feels better soon!

Broke the first toe playing quarters on my birthday in college. I was standing barefoot next to my friend who was sitting. She bounced the chair over onto my toe.

Second time was on vacation in Puerto Rico. I made my DH walk down to a waterfall in the rainforest. I was determined to swim there. I lost my footing going into the water and slammed my foot into a big rock. Worst thing was that I had to walk almost a mile to get back to the car through the rainforest. I couldn't complain because he didn't want to even be there in the first place.

The next day, we took a picture of our feet on the beach (we always do this on beach trips... saw it on a postcard once.) This picture wasn't like all of the others, though, because it had character... big, purple character.

I hope yours heals fast!

Well Deb, you're gonna have to suck it up. We got a date with Steven Tyler tonight. ;)

Oooooo, ouch!!!! Sorry to hear that Deb, I always walk around here barefoot and have bumped and banged, but not broken...yet! ;)
Hope it feels better soon!
