I am traveling to Disney World Alone, and I can't wait!

My trip is still a month away. I got an e-mail this morning telling me that my Magic Band has shipped. Hopefully, it will arrive all safe and sound. I did get my documents from the WDTC the other day. My grandson thought the luggage tags were cool. He surprised me with his reaction. He is 21, and at the moment shows no interest in going to Disney World anymore. I miss the fun that we used to have. Although, I do totally enjoy my solo trips, as well.

Still too much waiting to still do.

I think According to Disney Legend Charlie Ridgeway, Walt Disney always said his favorite attraction was “Smile’s.” It was always about the guests.

My Magic Band arrived today. I usually wear a watch on my left hand, which means that I would have to wear the Magic Band on my right hand. It doesn't feel comfortable there. I just might have to forego the watch this trip. Actually, I was going to buy a new watch, since coincidentally, my Mickey Watch died the other day. Oh well, I could always check the time on my phone, and wear the Band on my left hand. I still plan on replacing my Mickey watch though. Hopefully they still sell the digital watch that I wear at home daily.

I tried my first solo trip in December of 2012. I figured if I didn't like it, I wouldn't go solo again.

However, I had a great time! Don't get me wrong, I love going with others too. But, it's good to know that if someone cancels on me, I can still go and have a great vacation.

There is so much to enjoy, freedom to do what you want, when you want - and it's always easy to have a friendly conversation with guests and CMs too.
