I am. Really. Normally I'm quite good at my job, but today, I just was so out of it. The new employee I was training probably thinks I'm a complete moron! I kept making careless errors while teaching her, and she caught 2 major mistakes. That threw me off even more. Oh it was just so embarrassing.

I had to train a new employee on one of my primary job functions. I felt like I was just babbling on and on about things and boring her. Then when the time came to teach her by showing her my job in action, so to speak, I kept messing up and making ridiculous errors I would never make! :sad2:

I just don't know. Lucky for me, she was paying attention and caught them.

*sigh* Can I go home now?

I hear ya. I've been training a part-timer for the past month to help me out and I don't know how many times I've felt I was boring her, going way over her head with explanation or just plain talking too much. She's to a point where she can do some things on her own, but there are questions that constantly pop up. You'd think routine work would be just that, routine, but every situation has a unique scenario and it can be confusing. Sleep it off and tomorrow should go more smoothly - you'll be conscious of what you are saying for sure!:teacher:

Hey - we ALL have "off" days.. Don't let it get you down.. If you weren't capable, you wouldn't be allowed to do it!! ;)

Weren't you purposely making those mistakes to see how sharp she is? ;)
