I have spent the afternoon photographing my holiday photos with my new digital camera. Now I can look at the brilliant time we had in Orlando anytime on the computer whereas they have been stuffed in a drawer. By lining them up I was even able to take out some dodgy bits or strangers lurking in the background. It took quite a while so please don't anyone tell me there was a quicker way....

Im not sure I understand what youve been doing.....have you been taking photographs of actual photographs ? If thats the case, wouldnt you get far better quality with a flatbed scanner, even one of the really cheap ones ?

That said, we just paid £750 for a family picture from Venture, which has come in a massive sealed frame, and taking a picture of it with another camera seems to be the only option if I want a copy.

We do have a scanner but my DD's assured me (being a bit of a technophobe) that it would be quicker the way that I did it. The quality is not as good as an original downloaded photo but its a great way for me to view them screen size. Don't know how to put them on the board but will see if DD's can help for maybe one or two. Tron I did have trouble initially until I turned the flash off and went into macro. Good luck with your photograph - that must have been some sort of picture for £750!

There is a great power tool for Windows XP called a wallpaper changer. I have it linked to my Florida photos and every 15 minutes it changes wallpaper to show another Florida photo.

I have also got a My Pictures Slideshow set up under screen savers linked to the Florida photos.

Heaven! :)

Well Done!

That sounds excellent! Can one download it online?

Just had a chat with my son, he downloaded from the Windows XP site under power toys.
