I am so excited!!!

We just got back a week ago from our first Disney Trip. Didn't know how DH was going to react to DW b/c he went when he was 3, he doesn't remember it, he does not like crowds and does not like the heat. He didn't know what all the hipe over Disney was about. Well he had such a great time, he wants us all to go back next year for our 10th anniversary. I am so excited, I can hardly stand it. I can't wait until the 2009 rates come out so I can book our dates!!!

Just thought I'd share my excitement!!

We just got back yesterday from our 7-day WDW trip. I'm sure I don't need to explain how much of wonderful time it was. Planning to do it again in 2010! Sounds crazy but I'm already starting to think about where we'll stay and what we'll do. We're thinking about possibly ten days next time!

Prior to this, our last trip to WDW was in Oct 2006. Our boys were ages 1 and 4 at the time. For both my wife and I, it was our first trip to WDW since we were young kids. We had such a wonderful time going as family. Problem was, we were invited along by some of our friends, they did all the planning, it was a short trip and we didn't do as much as I would like to have done so I started planning our next trip as soon as we got back!

We went for the first time in 2003 (as a family). We saw a DVC booth and had no idea what it was but thought what the heck, we will go see. DH was having such a great and realxing time, we bought 150 points!! He looked at me and asked what our trip cost, then looked at what DVC cost and saw it would be cheaper because he knew at that point we would go many times!!! I had so much fun that week watching dd and dh.

That's pretty much what happened to me. Had been trying to convince DH how great WDW is and finally (after 10 years) convinced him to go. Of course he loved it and we decided to by 160 points in DVC. Used points to go to DL last November and planning AKV in October!!!!

Congrats on the next trip!! I wish my DH was that way. We met at WDW in 1994. We went back in 2000 without the kids. With the DS's we went in 2004, 2006, and have a trip planned for this December. The only reason the DH does is b/c I bribe him with helping him with his school work. The only reason we have a trip planned in 2009 is that my sister in law asked for us to go on her son's first trip. After that he says we are not going back for 12 years. Then again he said that after every trip, and so far I've been able to convince him to go.
