I am scared to do the single digit dance!

I am usually so happy to do my single digit dance, but with all the bad weather I am getting nervous!
We are scheduled to leave on 9/27. Anyone else nervous to go now with all bad weather, past/present/future?

The two named systems out there now are not projected to have any impact on the Orlando weather at this time. I think there is a heightened sensitivity to all of the weather systems which is causing a great deal of alarm at this point.

I agree. I am leaving tomorrow for the airport, and I don't think anything could stop me. I have been planning for this trip for a while, and I ain't afraid of the weather! The way I see it, if everyone else decides to postpone, the parks will be all mine!!!!

alacam -- I'm with you -- we have been planning this trip for so long that nothing is going to stop from going and having fun. You will have to share the parks with us I do think that there will be low crowds at the parks which is okay with me!!!

For the people who "nothing will stop them" . .. are you driving or flying? We are flying down next Thursday, and although I believe that Jeanne will be gone by then, I don't how the weather will be affecting flight routes ???

We are flying down next Friday from Philadelphia and couldn't be happier. I don't think the current storms will impact us and if more come it didn't seem to be too bad in Orlando (compared to some of the other places). During Charley and Frances the parks were shut down what 2 days. Plus with low crowds it will take no time to see everything.

I'm leaving on 10/13. I do think all this hurricane business will be over by then though I'm still a little nervous about it but as long as my flight takes off that morning I will be on it!!

I am a bit nervous about the weather but only from the standpoint that my flight may not take off on time or at all. I'm flying down to the world on Wednesday and can't wait!
I desperately need thist rip and nothign si going to stop me from having the best time possible!!!

We're supposed to be flying out of NH Thursday night the 23rd....I'm almost doing the "counting on one hand" dance!! I'm keeping a wary eye on the weather, but its looking better......

I'm still a little worried, just because I worry too much about EVERYTHING, but we are flying down on the 26th, and we have to go because DH work will not let him postpone or reschedule for any reason (ppbbbttttt to them). We need this vacation so bad, I can't wait!!!

Ha! GO! We left for DW on Sunday the 5th of September, met the tail end of Frances driving in and had a beautiful week! The airlines cancelled our flights FOUR times and finally, we hopped in the car drove down.

There were NO lines and it was a sunny, hot week. It was wonderful!
