So does anyone else feel this way or am I just stressing over nothing  .

But on the bright side I am leaving tomorrow for 8 Wonderful days.I will be spending my Birthday at Disney.I have done this the past 3 years :teeth: .

Take a deep breath, you'll be fine! We all feel this way in the crunch time just before leaving but it all works out!

Have a great time and a wonderful birthday!! I get to spend my bday at 'home' too!!

Believe me, I understand. I'm leaving tomorrow too for a quick trip and am feeling overwhelmed by all the things I've left to do. Of course, part of the problem is that I have a wedding to go to in Melbourne first so I have all the "good, go-to-wedding-events" clothing to pack, plus accessories, for me and for DD2, over and above the more casual WDW-wear. It's a five day trip and already I've got 2 suitcases packed and am seriously contemplating a third so that if I buy anything at WDW (if? Did I really say "if"?) I can schlep it home. I think I've got the clothing packed but now I've got to pack the shoes, the socks, the pocketbook, the camera, the kidlet's toys, the diaper bag, the toiletries. On top of that I've got to work late tonight, leave at 0:dark:30 tomorrow morning for MCO, have to schlep around the airport, get the rental car, drive over to Melbourne, and find the hotel on my own since DH is staying home (he's afraid that if he went he would wind up in jail for assaulting the groom's stepfather, that individual's ignorance not being an absolute defense). Hang in there, leaving a messy house won't kill you or the house (and what do you care if the burglar is offended that you didn't vacuum?). So - deep breathe, in, out. Calm. Tranquil. Now - have a wonderful time, have a very happy birthday and enjoy yourself to the hilt. Wishing you lots of Disney magic. :wizard:

I understand exactly how you're feeling!!! I like to leave my house tidy when we leave for trips, it's nice to come home to a clean house. But the past two trips, that just hasn't happened! I've gotten over it, who cares if the house is messy, I'm outta here!!! :teeth:

Have a wonderful trip!! :wizard:

:cool1:
I hear you. We are leaving tomorrow also. And—my b-day is going to be celebrated at Narcoosee’s (My fave restaurant) Monday nite. First time ever for my birthday and even tho I am no kid I am really excited.
You wouldn‘t believe my house. LOL! I haven‘t cleaned for a month. All I have been able to do is shop for the trip. Don‘t worry, it will all be there waiting for you when you get back.
Happy Birthday Gemini

When you get to WDW all your worries will melt away. Good luck getting everything done! Here is some pixie dust for you! :wizard:

drink caffene, stay up late and do what you can.
Don't kid yourself, you are not going to be able to sleep anyway... who could...
you are going to DISNEY!!!
:Pinkbounc :earboy2: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :earseek:
Happy Birthday!

I know how you feel. We leave tomorrow to drive to Topeka, then fly out of KC for 10 days at WDW. I still have to clean, iron (why do I even bother!), finish packing, etc. Then I need to help Kimmi to get the baby and all her stuff ready for the trip (they'll be spending the time I'm at WDW with our oldest daughter in Kansas). I am working on some really cute Mickey hats that say, "Just Married 25 Years Ago) to wear for our 25th anniversary and one is only 1/2 done. I want them to be a surprise, so I can only work on them when Stephen's not around, and he's always around!!!

I need to organize the trip notebook, whole punch the menus, try, one more time, to secure PS for our anniversary dinner (last minute decision), etc.

I so need a vacation from my vacation planning!!!

Let me tell you what my DH said after my last packing freakout about forgtetting things. If I said we are leaving right now to go to Disney or we are not going could you just leave without anything and go? I said of course- it's Florida, anything I need I could buy- smart man. No worries you will have a great time and just think your house can't get any messier with no people in it! Have a great time.

Ok, so I am not the only one freaking out about everything that I need to get done??

I am not leaving for Disney YET but by midnight tonight I have to be out of my apartment because I drive back to NY (from MD) tomorrow after my last Final exam (huge exam) :earseek:

I have to pack and study and then 17 days till Disney!!! (if I make it)

It's amazing how many of us are panicking today and celebrating birthdays this weekend! I'll be celebrating mine on Monday at Chefs de France. I'm leaving my house at midnight tonight. I haven't packed yet, I still have to water my plants and organize my cats (clean their litter, make sure their food is where my son can find it so he can feed them), and my landlord called about an hour ago and said that Monday they're coming to measure for my new windows--which means I have a bit of furniture to move so they can get to the windows. Oh, yes...I have to work late tonight, too, and had to be in early. I need a vacation! POR, here I come!

I will be the outside this afternoon w/ my 20+ potted planters trying to arrange them so the sprinkler system will water them all while we are gone.
I have 3 loads of laundry to do tonight and finish packing. All of this after I get off work at 4:00. UGH!!
After 10+ trips I still printed out Deb Wills packing list so I do not forget anything in my haste.

We leave Sat. morning. The Super Shuttle is picking us up at 3:40am!!!! AHHHH! I am cleaning house today (Thurs.) and tom. I will pack and do last minute errands. I know I won't get ANY sleep Fri. night. Man, I gotta get up a 2am anyway!!! But it's ALL worth it!! :cool1:
