I am about to Cry!!!! Update

Our first trip home is planned for the first week of May. I am so excited, but my husbands company is going through some major restructuring. Good news is he may get a promotion, bad news we may have to cancel/postpone our trip. The points I am using are 07 points, if I cancel/postpone what are my options? My use year is June. This sucks!!!

He got the promotion!!! Still uncertain about the trip.

I think you can still bank those points into June 2008. But you would have to cancel quick to do so. You can bank 100% four months before the end of your use year, so 1/31/08?

Otherwise, you can just go without him with the kids. Have a relaxing time by the pool and enjoy the resort. Invite a friend or family member if you are uncomfortable traveling by yourself by yourself with younger kids.


If I had to vacation when DH's schedule would allow, I would NEVER get to go anywhere!!! We vacation together as a family when HE just off. When he doesn't, I take the kids to WDW on my own, it's the only place I feel comfortable traveling with kids on my own. DME has been a tremendous benefit to me when traveling sans DH.

Thanks for the good information, hopefully we will know by the end of the week about the promotion. I do have a DS who is about as crazy about Disney as I am who would probably go with me if I asked. I am not too sure about traveling alone with all 4 kids, I would need lots of medication !!!! or drinks!!!

Thanks Bigmama! If you saw our 3rd and 4th came as a matched set. We call them our gift with purchase or buy one get one free. I don't think I could ever go alone with them yet. We should know tomorrow about the promotion and if we have to reschedule. And because it is our 1st trip home, I would like to do it as a family and not with my sister. My husband is a big Disney fanatic too. He would be very bummed if we left him at home.

After the 12 inches of snow we received last night I am dying for the sunshine of Florida.
