After reading all the hype about Crocs on the DIS, I started to seriously consider purchasing a pair. Alas, we have no trip planned in the future :sad2: (just went in Dec.), but I work in a preschool/Kindergarten and I am on my feet all day. My classroom is in the basement of the building and basically has a concrete (covered by linoleum) floor. It seemed like these would be good for my feet. A new Dick's Sporting Goods opened up in my town and they had a $10.00 off a purchase coupon in the local paper. The Crocs were selling for $29.99, so I figured for $19.99 I would give them a shot. They only had the basic kind (called "Beach" maybe?? :confused3 ). I got black since it will go with most of my stuff. Anyhow, long story short.......GREATEST SHOES I EVER WORE!! They felt amazing on my feet! When I came home from work to change, I actually forgot I was wearing shoes!! I didn't even want to take them off. I highly recommend these for anyone who is on their feet all day. Can't wait to wear them in WDW (hopefully in late 2007). I do have one question though, how in the world does that strap on the back stay on??? I was afraid of slippage, but alas, it stayed in place all day! Amazing :thumbsup2. These ugly shoes are actually becoming less ugly to me....the comfort factor trumps the fashion factor any day!!

Yeah for you! We love them in our house too. They are the only shoes that I FORGET to take off when I come in the house!

We went to MK yesterday, and I wore my Birkenstock's (I only have RED crocs, and I had nothing red clean to wear yesterday)....instead of my Crocs, and when we got home my arches hurt... which does not happen with my Crocs. Need to get a more NEUTRAL color....... or more red or white shirts!

I don't think my strap is ever on my heel, and DD has flipped her strap up over the front, but with the little "nubs" inside your feet don't slide.... which is what I LOVE about them.
