Well last night i went to one of those softplay places last night with a loads of 13-16 year old girls through the Girls' Brigade. I've never been before and it was ace, it's a place in Wolverhampton, and appart from getting lost it was really good fun! Although im 24 and a leader there I decided to go in (obviously just to product test the equipment);) and went down the death slide (vertical slide), in the ball pit...but now i ache all over, i've cut my arm and bruised my legs:thumbsup2

excersise is really bad for you Emily :lmao:

sounds like you had a lot of fun though ;)

Sounds like you had fun Emily, apart from the bumps and brusies:thumbsup2

I can remember getting in the ball pools with Callum - they really should feature it on a work out video, its very hard work. Hope the bruises heal soon.

Well as Nat said I think this finally proves that exercise is bad for your health! :lmao:

I was on the bouncy castle with Joseph yesterday, it is so tiring! :)

It sounds like you had a great night:)

Sounds as though you had a lovely time:)

I went on one of those vertical slides once (I think it was called a monster drop or something like that) and decided to push myself off! Doh, big mistake, really hurt my back. Sounds like it was a lot of fun though, Emily. Hope the bruises feel better soon.

I used to love those places and have to resist going in them now!

I took my DD4 and DD21mo to a new soft play place yesterday, there was a tame 0-5 bit but oh no they wanted to go in the 5-12 bit so I went with them - I ache too! Why do they call it "soft" play - it's hard all that squeezing through small gaps is no good.....especially for a grown woman with "you-know-whats" out front.
We all slept well last night though!
No ball pits though, I hate toddler ball pits, I always think about how many potty training accidents there have probably been in those things!

Sounds like you had a lot of fun, the girls love going on those.

Has your GB got a marching band, if so are they going to the competiton at Barnsley on Saturday, My girls are in the GB and in the band they have a lot of fun.

no, they used to but not anymore. It's quite a small company with about 40 girls, most of which are juniors and explorers, but the we have a sister company attached to the same church which has about 80 girls in. Hope all goes well on Saturday for you.
