I-95 hotels in lower SC or GA

Hello all!! I was wondering if anyone could give a good recommendations about any hotels in lower SC or GA along I-95. I found a Holiday Inn Express in Hardeeville SC but I don't know anything about the area. Any info/tips are greatly appreciated! Have a great day and God Bless!

The Pooler exit around Savannah is a good exit to find plenty of hotels. The last trip, we stayed at a Sleep Inn and Suites in Brunswick, GA that was exactly what we needed. Nice, clean, safe and very basic...rate was about $62 per night and came with a free continental breakfast.

If you can make it to Brunswick, the hampton Inn there is excellent.
It's where we always stay when we drive.

I just wanted to chime in to say that we have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Hardeeville on our last 2 trips to WDW and we love it! It has been a clean, welcome place to stopover. Breakfast is good, too. A neat bonus...the carpet pattern in the hallway is made of hidden mickeys! If I knew how to post a photo, I would! The first time my son noticed this, we knew we would be returning.

We've stayed at the Hampton Inn in Darien, GA. Great rate, free breakfast

Last trip we sayed at a Hampton Inn in Savannah, GA. We called from the road and got the last room thanks to a cancellation. The clerk gave us a great rate, too! We're hoping to get a little further south this trip and are aiming for Brunswick - glad to see this thread!

Make sure you stop and pick up one of the roomsaver booklets at rest areas. There are lots of coupons for these hotels and you can save a little bit that way.

Port Wentworth, GA and two other exits near Savannah, GA are good. As other s have said, Brunswick, GA is also a good stop.
