FYI:
This past w/e we drove I-81 from 78 in PA down to 77 in NC:
Maryland - A bit of construction, nothing major.
WV - of the 20+ miles in WV, 8-10 were under major resurfacing, or just about to be, and all was considered a work zone. Rough ride, really loud tire noise, but no delays.
(note: WV might replace Georgia as 'the workzone state')
VA - No construction to report (from Saturday). Gas prices were lowest of the trip at $1.79 for regular, with one Love's station down closer to the I-77 exit advertising $1.75.
I-77 was clear for the first few miles into NC, then we ducked off to I-74 to go home, b/c of almost no traffic going that way.
Hope the info may be helpful to someone.
