HYIP's...???

Are we not allowed to discuss them at all? I was away from the dis for a couple of days and now I see that a whole new thread was started solely for the purpose of discusing hyips and autosurfs but I go to the last page and it says it's been closed down!

What happened? Why can't people discuss things without it getting out of control and threads being shut down? This is sad to me , as I was interested in this topic.


Is this topic off limits? Just want to know.

Cannot be discussed at all. per the webmasters, the last thread had to be locked by BethR. The topic is too sensitive. You can PM BethR...or just look through the last few pages for the locked thread. The explanation is posted in the last post on that thread as to why it cannot be discusssed.

Webmaster Pete felt that the topic was too volatile and too much a possibility of internet fraud that he decided that this was not a topic that we should condone being discussed on the DIS.

If you have questions about these programs, there are many, many websites out there with message boards on the 'net that people can read and participate in.

Unfortunately, we just won't allow the discussion here.

As I said in my previous post, if anyone would like to discuss these programs, just Google "HYIPs" - there are countless other message boards that would welcome the discussion. The DIS does not. :

I think that the difference between eBay, PayPal, renting DVC points, etc and these programs is the possibilities of illegalities with these other programs. The WMs have chose not to promote that here on the DIS.
