Brumeiser -- It sounds like you just a hold of one that wasn't good. I had mine for 1 1/2 years and dropped it several times and it still kept my cold drinks icy cold for 24 hours - in fact, sometimes longer than that. If I didn't finish my water at the end of my work day, I would leave my flask on my desk and the ice cubes would still be there inside the next day. But I thank you for the opportunity to tell you what makes Hydroflask stand out from other companies.
I mentioned I dropped mine several times but it still worked just fine. The last time, it stopped working and I could feel the cold through the outside. I sent a quick email off to Hydroflask and got a superfast reply telling me to send it back and they would check it out. The receipt from the post office said it was supposed to arrive on Saturday so imagine my surprise when on my door step I received my new, shiny Hydroflask on Monday! And even better, it came with a HAND-WRITTEN NOTE!!!

What company gives that kind of service any more??? I was so impressed that I am not only telling everyone but I have my note on my desk at work for everyone to see.
Mainegal, you know I love ya, but I've been waiting a long time to say this. Do you think anyone from Thermos would be writing you a hand-written note to thank you for your business when they offer you your free replacement flask? Maybe it's just me, but anyone can offer a good product (you can already see the Thermos vs Hydroflask debate) but it is customer service that truly makes a company stand out. For that reason, my business will always be with Hydroflask.
