So I have this great trip set up for Presidents Week, 2 bedroom at VWL, kids all excited. Hubby comes home yesterday, ah I really don't want to go away in February, flights are expensive, weather at home can be iffy, have to worry about delays, snow storms, etc!! Can you book something for August, maybe 4 nights at VWL and then 3-4 nights at Vero!!!

I want to strangle him!!! First I hate the heat!! but I can deal, airfare is doable, but why couldn't he have decided this earlier. I haven't called yet for rooms, not that there will be any available, but I just wish he would get DVC!!!!

DH did the same thing to me, lol. We were sitting on the beach at Vero Beach in April, when he tells me he wants to come back this summer Naturally, there was nothing available for any Sun - Thu for July/August (and really, the weather is much better in the spring). Kept checking back and got in from 8/15 - 8/22 in a Garden View Inn Room (beggars can't be choosers, eh?). DH is so lucky and he doesn't even know it

I had to do that to DH for our spring break 2007, could have easily booked a 2br at SSR when we purchased. But no he wanted to go in early May. So we did and stayed home and froze over break (it was really cold up in OH) I just read the Orlando forecast to him every day. 80 and sunny. He got the point

My DH has talked to MS, drum roll please: ONCE. I make the reservations, set up ME, do the waitlist thing. He's in Prague right now and called yesterday and about the third thing out of his mouth was "You got Vero Beach set up for next Spring Break." Yes, dear and the airline search is on going, no park hours yet for Thanksgiving and your eldest thinks your plan of just getting on the 2nd bus that shows up is stupid, because we'll be at Epcot every day."

Plus he has the camera with all the WDW pictures on it, and he's been showing people pictures. They really liked the one of me with the messy hair and Donald Duck and the White Rabbitt(taken Easter morning at VB).
