Hi All

I've been checking out the threads for a few days and can't find any mention of "Jeanne" and the damage caused. There seemed to be a lot more discussion about "Charley" at the time.

We are visiting for the first time 3 weeks today, so just a little curious about damage etc.. to homes and rental villas.

Does anyone know if Orlando suffered much damage ?

beginning to get excited now !!!!!! only 3 weeks to go.

Debbie

Most of the damage from Jeanne occured in Brevard county along the east coast of Florida. Jeanne came ashore just 5 miles north of where Frances made landfall. Many homes that had been damaged by Frances were destroyed by Jeanne.

The Orlando area did pretty well. Even though Jeanne was stronger than Charley, there was not as much damage as we had with Charley. There are still power outages and lots of trees down, but most places are up and running. The Disney area is fine. I didn't see as many trees down on Disney property this time as I did with the prior two storms.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Many thanks for letting me know. I'm glad for all concerned that there wasn't too much damage this time.

Cheers

Debbie
