Hurricane Irma VB & HHI?

Just drove over by the Vero resort. All the lights were on. Couldn't see any damage. There were land crabs crawling all over A1A.

VB is expected to reopen Thursday 9/14 but HHI doesn't have an opening date listed yet. Hopefully they will reopen on Sunday 9/17 as @quinnc19 posted from Disney's email to them.

Any current info on Hilton Head re-opening date? Having trouble getting a firm answer and scheduled to arrive in a few days.

Read somewhere that HHI opens on the 18th. Calling MS should tell you when they reopen.

I've tried calling the HHI front desk directly, just get an answering machine saying they are closed for now and to call MS. So I called MS and get a recording that unless my trip is within the next 7 days I should call back. We are due to check in to HHI next Sunday, just want to be sure we are good to go.
Hoping that the 18th is a firm date for them to re-open!

Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is currently closed due to Hurricane Irma, and will reopen on Monday, September 18.

I hope everything works out for you and you have a great trip! I still haven't made it there yet. We were scheduled to go for our first time last year during Matthew. Hopefully I can correct that soon!

That is great news. You would think though that they would add that information to the DVC member site. It still shows the closed message.
