Just a teeny update about our late lunch at Nathan's hot dogs!

We have three reviews left from the Vegas trip: The Petrossian Bar at Bellagio (tasty but expensive drinks), Aquaknox (incredible seafood at the Venetian) and of course the long delayed Joel Robuchon (MGM Grand) which I will probably save for last.

But as we stood waiting in the heat at the boat queue, listening to the ear shattering wails of a toddler whose parents refused to allow him to hurl himself off the dock in pursuit of waterfowl, we realized that had we just started walking we'd already be halfway to MGM and our surroundings would be much quieter to boot.

You know... the funny thing is... I had a Nathan's dog last night too!!! Only it was on the NY Thruway on my way to Jersey... and go ahead and flame me... but because of a nun in 3rd grade who forced me to eat my brothers sandwich (our lunches got mixed up...) I had to put Ketchup, relish and kraut on mine... anyone have the fries with it???

& you know...they never taste the same at home...

Aww, I think we all need hugs.

I've been in a foul mood, too. My check from the credit union still hasn't arrived, yet my statement for the quarter showing the deduction AND a @$#@#$@# fee for calling about "where's my check?" showed up on said statement.

And today they announced VMK is closing next month. If you want to see people going crazy, check out THAT forum!

That was a sad, sad day at our house. My girls really loved that site. Stinky, I say. So many fun things to explore and keep the magic going... Ah well.

I've been working on pictures from our dinner last night and thought I'd post the only group shot we took the entire evening.

This is everyone after decimating the menu and booze I mentioned in an earlier post.

Your eyes do not deceive you ... Grimace (my mom) is actually smiling!!! And she only had one glass of port ... I wonder if that's the secret???

You guys look beautiful! The funny part is that as I looked at the picture I said to myself, "That little ole man looks familiar..where do I know him from??" then I questioned my brain, checked off the lists, and realized... he looks familiar from YOUR POSTS. I read you too much!

PS I'll have you know I am making T-shirts for our trip.. I'm NOT a matching shirt person but this board has inspired me to be WILD beyond my limits (sorta like asking that guy to pose with planky!). Oh yea.. there will be shirts.. there WILL be shirts. The caption is ala oybolshoi... I'll have to post when the time comes.

Bah! I just spent 6 weeks working on this review of Joel Robuchon's restaurant at the MGM and the effing HTML is screwed up (becuase of something I did that I don't even know that I did). So come read and bring your magnifying glass because 2/3 of the way through it changes to Encyclopedia font and nothing I've done will change it back.

Be warned ... it's a long review but I hope you enjoy it ... if you can actually read it without destroying your vision.

EDIT: It's a miracle in July ... somehow we managed to fix it and save you all from a massive tension headache!!
