All I can say is . . . Can't wait for the next movie. Cliffhanger ending. Won't say anything more.

Just saw it tonight after re-watching Hunger Games last night.

So good - can't wait for the next one!

Well if you read the books it really isn't a cliff hanger.

No shaky camera in this one thank goodness. Really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one. My son was trying to get me to tell him what happens next , I told him to read the book. :lmao:

When you leave people in the middle of "something" and you don't know what will happen next, that's a cliffhanger.

If you've read the book you know how the cliffhanger gets resolved.

I haven't read the books, I don't know what will come next.

That is why I read the books after seeing the first movie! I couldn't wait.

Leaving in a few to see the movie with DH. (he read the books before the movies)

The boys aren't coming with us. They are waiting to see it with friends. Oh, well! They'll just have to wait!

:thumbsup2 :)

I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I thought the first movie was horrible. I'm hoping this one is much better.

I think this one is much better then the first. Loved the costumes in this one. Only thing I didn't think they did a good job of was explaining the black market and the woman there, and what she meant to Katniss and Gale. Was almost confused at what the troopers were doing at first when they came to District 12 but when I saw the woman I knew.

I saw the movie with my family yesterday. We all enjoyed it very much.

I can't wait for Mockingjay which will be split into two movies.

Loved it!!! Took my little sister from Big Brothers Big Sisters and she kept asking me what happened next and I told her she had to read the book!

I read Catching Fire when I was pregnant, and then listened to Mockingjay when I was up at night all the time the first month my daughter was born. If you go on YouTube, you will find the whole audio book on there, in 15 minute chapters.

The next one will be in two parts. I have no idea why they would do that. Mockingjay is not complex enough to be two movies, IMHO.

Well, we are back and both of us loved it!

We did arrive at 9am for the 9:30 movie, so we decided to upgrade to the "Imax" at 9am. (there were 30 minutes of previews to sit through anyway!) Sorry, but not worth the upgrade from 12.50 a ticket to 19.00 a ticket.
We couldn't tell the difference!

I have not read any of the books or seen the first movie, so some of the things in the movie and the ending confused me.

I don't want to be a spoiler, though, so I guess I'll wait to ask my questions. :)

If you haven't seen the 1st movie asking questions probably won't help that much. Once you see the first movie you might have all your questions answered. :)

The kids & I saw the first one and all loved it. DD19 & DD13 separately saw the new one with friends this weekend.

DD13 came home in tears and said she cried through a lot of it! She was really upset and got teary again talking about it. Granted, she is usually pretty tired by Friday night so she may have been more emotional than usual but I was still pretty surprised. I don't remember her being so distraught after the first one.

DS11 is dying to see it but we're making him wait until this nasty cough of his goes away some more. We figure he'd drive a movie theater crazy with his constant coughing fits.

I actually cried when they were at District 3.

$$$$$$$$$$

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Harrows" made a fortune.

I agree that its about money but imho, it makes the movie better.

Both Deathly Hallows and Breaking Dawn were the best movies (BD was better than the book) of each series.
