How is the crowd at HS?
We have been to Disney a *lot*, but never gone to MGM, now HS. We have been 3 times with our kids (oldest now 6).
We just got home 2 weeks ago and I am thinking we will be skipping AK for awhile. It was *awful*. You could not walk, it was totally insane. My daughter is 4 and drives a power wheelchair. She was able to ge around *much* better in MK than AK this trip. I was very suprised we had never seen the crowd swapped like that. AK is ok (my husband and son love the rapids, All but DD love Everest). Overall there is nothing for our daughter there. She can see the 3 shows (been there, done that) and we can see the parade (again). Thats it.... the rest of the day leaves her waiting around for everyone else and it doesn't seem fair to me. So I think we are going to ditch AK for a few trips.
We love Epcot just because its so much more laid back and a much easier day for our daughter. Sure, there isn't as much for her to do there, but at least she can get around easily. She loves nemo and crush. Both kids love living with the lands (we live in the country, so they like growing and seeds). I want to do the seed tour eventually, but I am not sure the ages and if its accessible. She gets to see Belle, and there are a few other things she can do. We love the fireworks! Of course MK.... well its MK! Its a mid-high stress kinda day. The crowd is more intense and this makes it harder for DD. She gets to ride everything (almost) and *loves* it, but its more back work for DH and myself, no problem.
This all leaves me wondering.... comparing HS to the other parks, how does the crowd compare? Should we expect a high stress day? Will she be able to drive, or is it more of a crowd?
Thanks for any thoughts/insight!
