Doesn't seem possible to hit them all...

Thinking I'll skip LMA, Mermaid, and DIS Jr.
I've seen Mermaid and DIS Jr....is LMA worth rhe journey across the park, and worth the wait?

If you're comfortable skipping DIS Jr and Mermaid, then there's nothing wrong with that. Obviously out of the shows that you've seen, you can pick your favorites and just see those. I really enjoyed LMA the first time I saw it, but once you know everything behind it, it sort of loses it's re-watch value. That said, if you haven't seen it before, I would recommend watching it at least once (especially because who knows if it'll even be here in a few years!)

If that four year old in your signature is into cars at all (and not too afraid of loud noises), LMA is a MUST. We all love it, but it is one of my two boys' favorite shows and we are not allowed to skip it.

which ones to see are just each person's opinin.

personally i HAVE to see beauty and the beast and muppet vision 3D.

beyond that i also really like voyage of the little mermaid.

while i'm a fan of indiana jones i have not seen it in recent trips cuz its not as high of a priority.

i HATE lights motors action.
its too loud and too crowded.

i've never done dis jr cuz i don't have little ones of my own.

i'm not sure if you're including fantasmic in the mix but personally i'm not a big fan of it and so i like to leave for the day by 4pm and then relax at the hotel.

How can you not find the time to do all the shows considering the vacuum of attractions at DHS?

My son loved LMA when he was in his Cars phase.
I love it because it is a final remnant (though staged and entirely fictional) of the production aspect of the studios.
Unless you and your party like to see stunts and tricks with cars, you could probably skip it.

That said--we have seen it enough and probably won't see it again. But I do enjoy it when I do see it.

And to be honest, we skipped Voyage of the Little Mermaid for years because I just didn't care to see it. Took my 4yo and she enjoyed it, though rides are more her thing.

We usually hit Playhouse Disney with the littles.

Thanks for the feedback...looks like LMA is out.
Too much time, wife not excited about all the noise, and the exhaust isnt adding to the appeal.

My son and I would probably enjoy it, but we're already overloading her with Star Wars stuff, so if she wants to skip it I'm fine with it.

Happy wife, happy...something or other

To be fair, it's not really that loud. It's louder than some of the other shows, but not deafeningly so. If it's something you think you and your son would be interested in, I wouldn't skip it.

If I had to skip a show, it would be LMA. Just isn't that good in my opinion. Next would be Indiana Jones. I have two little girls who love VLM, BatB and Disney Jr. so....

There's really not a ton to do at DHS. You should be able to fit everything in no problem. LMA was one of the best shows we saw in our whole trip. We both enjoyed it. It's not really "loud" at all. About as loud as an action movie in a theater.

It looks like you have already decided, but if you end up with some extra time, I'd try to squeeze in LMA. It's pretty cool to see your first time.

We have 7 and 9 year old boys who both REALLY want to see LMA. We'll be finding a way to work it in on our trip - along with Indiana Jones. They're too old for Disney Jr. now, so we'll skip that one, and they have absolutely zero interest in Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid, so I'm sure those will be out, too.

I, too, am not a fan of LMA, and I go see Indiana Jones maybe every 4 or 5 visits because if you've seen it, you've seen it. Must sees for me with or without children is Beauty and the Beast, little Mermaid, and Muppets. My family loves Fantasmic but I'm bored of it quite frankly. In fact, were it not for TSMM, ToT, RnR, I probably would skip HS all together.

Between LMA and Indiana Jones I personally thought LMA was much more entertaining myself and they are the same "concept"
