The day we plan on going to HS, we have lunch res for Mama Melrose F! at noon and Sci Fi dinner at 5:15p. We are staying at CR, relying on Disney Transportation. Would you go to HS first thing and see most attractions, have lunch, go back to resort for a rest, then come back for dinner and F! OR go for lunch and stay through F! (approx 8 hrs at HS)?
We have 8 ppl in our party, ranging from 4 to 73. TIA!:wave2:

I have always had the most luck with lower wait times being there at rope drop. So if that means a split day for you, that's what I would suggest.

I would plan to sleep in a little and arrive at DHS around mid-morning. Take advantage of Fastpass+ and book your fastpasses accordingly, TSM should be at the top of your list. DHS is an easy, laid back park. It is relatively small and easy to walk around. There are lots of shows and some very decent rides to keep you entertained all day. Take your time and space the day out, taking your time during your breaks for lunch and dinner. With two TS meals scheduled, you will eat up a good chunk of your time. I would personally not bother heading back to the resort. To me it is not worth the headache of dealing with the buses back and forth. I do not normally leave the parks for a break, unless we plan to head to a different park later than night for dinner or evening EMH.

Shoot, we go all day. :goodvibes:confused3 (In Sept that's typically 9am-8pm)

There are some nice indoor shows and areas to kick back for a bit if you need to relax.

We found that taking the time to go back to our resort in the middle of the day just doesn't work for us.

Everyone tours differently though...

It always works out best for us to be there at Rope Drop and then head back to our hotel after lunch for a break. Return for dinner and night time entertainment.
