HRH - Family of 6

We are planning our first trip to Universal. We are a family of 2 adults, 3 preteens, and one Grandma. I got an entertainment rate of $125.00, but now would like to take Grandma-any ideas on whats avail with 2 Baths or should we go to 2 rooms $$$. Pool is very important to us-does it have a slide? Also is the 2park/2 day pass, 2 consecutive days or can we rest between. Or maybe the annual pass may be a better deal?

When we went last time (we have 4 kids) we got two rooms at the HRH. Very nice and yes, the pool does have a slide. Would you be able to return to the parks within a year? If so, the AP would be great. That's what we're doing. If not, how about the 5 consecutive day pass? You could do half days if you wanted and have plenty of time to enjoy the hotels. The HRH is close enough to pop over to for a few hours. Or a few of you could do that if some wanted to stay at the hotel.

This visit we are staying at the Royal Pacific and my sister and BIL are staying with us part of the time. It will be rather crowded in the rooms with 8 of us, but that's ok since we won't be in the rooms much.

sometimes there is a buy 2/ get 3rd day free pass, which I think are consecutives days. But this year we bought a 5 day pass that was on special for about $90.00 each. (consecutive days) We may or may not go every day, but at least we don't have to say "no" and compared to Disney prices its a huge bargain.
We figure we will go on a few rides on day of arrival and go to bed early. Traveling w/ 6 there's a good chance some of you may want to do more park time, and some may want more "down" time. Have fun.
we stayed at HRH, kids liked slides, there was a movie at pool one night, beach volleyball, hair wraps for girls, they had fun.
