Max: Sorry about that.
OOC: lol
Max: Relax guys, it's Adam!
Max: *rolls eyes* Yes.
Max: It's unnerving how he looks completely different. When I went to London to find him I didsn't recognize me at all. And I'm completely annoyed. He's a head taller than me now!
Max: I helped him set this all up.
Max: No, he's not really an orphan.
Max: I know it's the best thing to keep them safe, but I' a little uncomfortable with this orphan lie part. First, being that the more you tell yourself something, the more you believe it, until it.........well, if you let it, it can consume you. For years I......well, let's just say I've experienced it first hand. I'm worried Adam will talk himself into believing what's not true too. Second of all, I am an orphan. And Adam, you have no idea what it's like. You may think, sure, it's Max, she's tough, she'll make it through. And I have no doubt that I will. But you honestly have no idea what it really feels like to be an orphan. You couldn't begin to completely comprehend it. Of the AGCR, only me, Tony, and Harry know that secret. And me and Harry's positions have some differences. But we both know the same pain, and Adam doesn't. And when you have that pain, it comees out when you least expect it *touches her scar* This is proof of it for both me and Tony. And I'm worried. If Adam doesn't reflect that pain, if he doesn't lose it sometimes.........he's not going to convince anyone, and Voldemort and the Ministry will find him. Because people expect orphans to have that pain and experience that pain and act on that pain. And if he's constantly happy-go-lucky........the fact that he's lying will be obvious.
Max: There's nothing much we can do. We can hide him, but if he let's them find him, if he gives up.....there's no telling what would happen. We can be here for him, but in the end, it's his own journey. We can only help him so much. We only have so much power.
Max: That's the back story. We told Dumbledore, but we can't let any other professors know. Especially Snape. I'm convinced he's a Death Eater.
Max: Tony offered too, with out asking me. Burt he turned him down too. Besides, the Diggorys probably already seized the house, even though it was left to me in my father's will. I wouldn't dare step in that place again. Good thing I took all off our personal possesions to Hogwarts. And I wouldn't trust being under the same roof. It's clear the adults can't be responsible for us. *shakes her head* Enough of me ranting about my troubles. I don't need a house. Tony will be in school for a while, so in a few years once I get into professional quidditch and earn enough money, I'll buy a mansion and we'll be okay.
Max: Yeah, that's right. Oh my gosh, Hermione, remember the night we decided to ask Harry if he would help us form the DA and I went inside the Gryffindor common room with my Ravenclaw stuff still on?
Max: No, he'ds not going to beat me at my game. For the last couple of days I've been practicing every spare minute. I also haven't eaten dinner for the last couple of days. What a strange coincedince.
Max: Ah, he has no chance of beating me. I've been playing since I was two.
