I've been putting in umpteen hours sewing costumes for our school musical-there are 78 costumes total, and I've probably done 95% of them, using some donated scraps of fabrics, but quite a bit of my own supplies. I'm getting down to the bottom of my fabric supplies, but the costumes are turning out pretty good. I even got someone to work one of my p/t job shifts so I could stay home and sew. Well..........I get a phone call from the music director telling me that the trim I used on one of the Mesopotamian costumes shouldn't have had gold in it because that wasn't historically correct-remember, this is an elementary school production
AY -yi-yi! Some people
Then she leaves a note on my desk that she needs 5 more costumes by tomorrow, and to "just make anything for them"
Okay, I just have to keep telling myself, it's all for the kids........
