Well, DH and and I met as CM's at a new
Disney Store (no longer around, though

) Long story short, after dating for three years, DH suggested taking a trip to WDW to celebrate my graduating from college (he had graduated the year before). We stayed at Port Orleans (when it was just plain ol' Port Orleans) in a lovely corner room with a view of the river.
For his "gift" he arranged a "princess" day for me. First we took a trail ride at FW (looove the horses). After that we hopped over to MK and had a romantic lunch at Tony's on the porch. He then took me to the GF spa where I was treated to a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure (oh my!). This was amazing!
After the spa, we headed back to PO to change for dinner at Artist's Point. We had another romantic meal (and did you think I would have had a clue?) We strolled along the walkway at Wilderness Lodge and then took a boat over to MK. While we were in the boat (one of the smaller, cozier ones, not the ferry-like one), we had to stop for the water pageant (very cool!). We arrived at MK just in time for SpectroMagic. After the parade we walked around until park close. As it was nearing time, I figured we had better head towards the front of the park, but DH said he preferred strolling. So we wandered around a bit more until it seemed really empty. He then walked me over to the rose garden area where the Minnie and Mickey toparies are, and with the castle in the background, dropped to one knee and asked "Will you marry me?" Wow . . . of course I said yes!
We lingered a bit more and then walked out of the park; I think every CM knew what happened. When we went to the bus stop, we had a bus to ourselves and the CM said with a huge grin, "You must have just gotten engaged!" .
When we arrived back at the room, there were a dozen peach roses (my favorite) and a bottle of sparkling cider. Ahhh . . . .
