Disneyberry makes excellent points. I do not think that you will get a true, honest response to this poll because it is not anonymous. Anyone who thinks that they may rent points in the future would be more than hesitant to post other than positively, for at least two reasons. It might may a potential rentee view them as difficult, and also anyone who they have rented to in the past, who may have had problems which translated to extra work for the renter, might see themselves as the reason for a negative response.

Renting is not always simple and easy. It can lead to meeting some great new friends, but also to spending a lot of time with someone who has no serious intent to rent, or perhaps who cannot/will not actually follow through with the terms. And I think sometimes the more conscientious and considerate you are the harder renting is. For example, some renters only rent large chunks of points at a premium price. Full payment early, no refund, no rescheduling, period. I seem to respond to those who want to rent smaller numbers of points, and often rescheduling is requested. I also can't imagine requiring full payment right away, unless the reservation is imminent. Overall this means more of your time to schedule and reschedule, longer lapse of time until payment, and a couple of instances of forgotten payments (each time I truly believe it was just an oversight, quickly fixed.)

I guess if you can be very businesslike it would be easier, but it wouldn't be as friendly as I would want. :)

When this was first brought to my atention, I emailed a moderator to see if they could change it to an unpublic poll. Thay mentioned that they couldn't change it for me. I might let this one go and try again in a few days. With less questions :snooty:
