How to use Giftcards for tickets

So, does anyone know if the tickets that can be purchased directly from the Disney Store or the Disneyland ticket booths are the same price as the tickets purchased in advance from the Disneyland website?

Also, if purchasing directly from the Disney Store or the Disneyland ticket booths can you get discounts offered by special programs (my health insurance company has a Life Balance program that offers a discounted price of $261 for 5 day price hoppers which are available via a link on that program's website that takes me directly to a discounted page on the Disneyland website).

Currently the price is the same, both online and at the gate. There used to be an online discount, but I haven't seen it in a while.

Do you mind sharing what health insurance company that is? That's a nice deal from a place I never would have thought to look.

My insurance company is Providence (I believe it's a regional company in the Pacific NW). The Life Balance program has discounts on many things including hotel chains.

I already posted this on someone else's question but thought I would put it out there for everyone. How do you get around only using one giftcard when ordering tickets online through Disney or AAA. Id like to take advantage the 5% savings at Target to save money but it seems that there is a road block in buying the tickets. Please help!
Hoping to convience my hubby to stop in Disneyland on the way to San Diego. Saving money would go in my favor:cool1:

Did you or anyone else ever find out whether you can use multiple gift cards when buying tickets from the Disney webiste?

You can use 3 gift cards on the website, but as many as you want in person at the ticket booth.

The Target pharmacy rewards that offer the additional 5% certificate sounds like a good deal. But, does anyone know if Target's prescription prices are higher than Walmart (which is where I currently get prescriptions filled)? I wouldn't want to switch pharmacies for the 5% if I'm paying a lot more for my prescriptions.

I work at target so I thought of stocking up on gift cards and using them at the gate. but then GetAwayToday had a sale - get a 5 day pass for price of a 3 day hopper. For my family that saved me $250, which was about how much I was gonna save buying gift cards with my employee discount and red card. So I went through GetAwayToday, but have been buying gift cards to cover food

They changed the website so you can only use one. If you call to order you can use three. If you go to the gate, you can use as many as you want.

The answer to this totally depends on the medications in question. You are going to have to call the pharmacy directly for quotes.

So I bought the $50 gift cards from target w/the 5% discount & went to the Disney store to buy my 3 day park hoppers. The one day I went to the Disney store they told me the maximum giftcards I could use in 1 transaction was 4 but the second time I went they let me use 5 gift cards. Just thought id let everyone know that you can use more giftcards at the Disney store than disney online. I didn't want to wait til July to buy my ph's at DLR with the possibility of price increases.

Since things are always chanigng, can you tell me when it was you were last able to use three gift cards when ordering via phone?

If you have a Disney Store close by and going to the ticket booths at the park isn't an option buy the gift cards at Target then go buy the ticket voucher at the Disney Store. Unless you use another option such as getawaytoday or way.com (getawaytoday will match their price as well.)

Hi guys! I wanted to say thanks for this thread. Because of it, my sister used 8 gift cards (and a bit of a balance from her rewards card) to buy her AP at the gate with the cards purchased from Target for 5% off! She had called our local Disney Store in advance regarding purchasing an AP voucher there, but all they had was WDW APs (they had tickets for both coasts - we live in AZ, so I thought it was odd they would have FL APs, but not CA ones).

I think I'm going to now get my tickets at Safeway. I get 3% back on my rewards visa. They are also offering 4x gas rewards. You can get the tickets at the store. I'm not sure if you just take them to the gate. I need to go read the fine print :)

Has anyone ever bought gift cards at Safeway while getting the 4x gas rewards? Reading the details of the 4x gas rewards, it says "Maximum rewards is $1.00 per gallon". Does this mean you can not accumulate more than 1,000 points (which equals $1.00) at any given time? If so, would I have to buy no more than $250 worth of gift cards, then use my gas rewards points before buying any more gift cards?

Also, does Safeway sell Disney gift cards in amounts higher than $50? I know Target usually carries $25 and $50 gift cards, but I'm looking for cards that are higher.

What it means is that you can only use $1.00 off per gallon each time you fill up you tank. You can still accumulate more than the 10 gas rewards. For example I had 12 gas rewards I was only allowed to use 10 of these rewards & I stilll had 2 rewards accumulated. They will continue to accumulate but you only have 30 days to use the rewards before they expire.
