How to use Epcot front entrance from WDW Swan?!

I'd just walk through the International Gateway. You aren't losing much time at all compared to the front gate, and I would also expect the front gate to be busier!

Walk through Boardwalk...and Boardwalk to EPCOT

it's easy

If you look at Google Earth, you might just see that Soarin' is just as close to the IG if not closer than the front. That is if Soarin' is even open by then.

It is a tiny bit longer. I measured it out using google maps and even used the rose garden "short cut".

What time of day was it? They have been using Epcot as the hub for water park busses after 2:00.
This was in the morning when we noticed it. We were at the bust stop around 9:30 and before a bus for MK came at 9:45, there were already 2 buses for Epcot.

I wonder if it was just for the holidays. It would be nice to have a bus to the front on days we do Future World. Not for time, but to save my legs. It seems like a long walk to Spaceship Earth from BWV.

Also, is there any more exact info for its re-open than "Summer 2016"?? I've seen it listed in June to open, but most sites just say summer.

It could have just been for the holidays due to the much larger crowds. It is a long walk, but when at Disney I usually average 25k steps a day.

We stay at the EPCOT resorts so we can avoid as many buses as possible. I would much rather walk and enjoy the weather, because I know what when I get home it's going to be too cold to go outside! We walked almost 90 miles in the 5 and 1/2 days we were there, and that was with a break from the parks to see Star Wars at Disney Springs. The lines are shorter at IG, and it just doesn't seem like that much of a walk to us anymore.
