We are staying one full week at CBBR. Then the APH discounts came out for our trip dates and one night at RPH gives us express pass for two days at far less than buying the passes straight. Initially I thought we'd just use it as a throwaway room. Now I'm wondering how much of a hassle it would be to pack an overnight bag and enjoy the night at RPH in addition to the express pass.

There are two of us, we'll have our park bag and a carry-on size rolling suitcase - how can we quickly and easily get from CBBR to RPH on check-in day? Thanks!

Hi I just did this a couple of weeks ago. We were at CBBR then went to RPH for one night to get the express pass. We left CBBR at 7:oo am (wanted to leave at 6:45) and walked across the street to Sapphire falls then was going to walk to RPH. I stopped and asked the bellman the quickest route to walk and instead he hailed a complimentary car for us and it dropped us off. We could have walked from there because it is right next door. It is about a 10 minute walk. I don't know which path it is though you can stop in and ask like I did. You might be able to get a car from CBBR though. I would ask bell services there. All you have to do is put your "do not disturb sign up in front of your door at CBBR. Nobody will bother your room. We checked in right away at RPH and was out the door at the boat launch by 7:50 and made early entry.

I've done this. It's a pretty easy walk.

Go across the street to SF, then walk down the spiral staircase to where the SF water taxi is. Walk past that and you'll cross a small street to RP.

We decided to pack a small overnight bag and you can leave it with bag services for the day. Then came back at night and grabbed our bag and went to our room for the night since it was ready.

Next morning we checked out and left our bag with bag services again and took the RP water taxi back to the parks again.
