How to Thank a CM??

There were 4 CMs from Pop and All Star Music that were extremely helpful over this last trip. I have their names, the day, and time they were working. Now, how do I go about making sure that they receive the credit they deserve for going above and beyond in their duties?

On one of our stays at POR, there was a CM who worked in the food court who made a point of always talking to my DD and asking about her day, etc. (I'm sure she did this with all the kids.) My DD would purposely get in this CM's line -- even if another was shorter -- just to talk with her.

Anyway, upon on return home, I wrote a letter to the Resort Manager and complimented the lady. About a week after I mailed the letter, I received a voice message from WDW thanking me for taking the time to write the letter and advising me that it would go in the CM's file and she would be recognized.

So, my advice is to write to the respective managers of the resorts. It is worth the effort.

My compliments to you! It's so nice to know that people in this world of ours, make sure they have the names of those who have helped make their stay enjoyable! The CM's certainly do deserve the praise, and it will certainly go into their file! Family member works for WDW, and it's wonderful when someone actually takes the time to send in their thanks for a job well done! Thank you and glad you had a magical experience!

There was a CM at POP that made the extra effort to make our honeymoon extra special. I also wrote the resort manager at POP using the Disney address provided on our check-in information. About a week after I sent the letter, I had a message from the resort manager stating that the letter would be put in her file and thanked me for taking the time to write the letter.

I encountered the most awesome CM in the world on my Feb. trip. I didn't catch his name but remembered the time we saw him. I wrote a long and detailed letter and mailed it to Guest Relations and about 3 weeks later they called me! It was awesome!

Last February we had a problem in WDW and the hotel manager could not have been any nicer. (see my post How Disney Handled a very Difficult Situation). When things calmed down I wrote a nice letter and sent it off, but I never heard again from them. I hope the letter was put in her file.
