How to tell if your Cath School will close

My son goes to Catholic school. It's been known lately that his Catholic school is suffering from low enrollment. They really are barely making it. Last week they sent home a survey. The survey is to help the "planning steering commitee" make recommendations about the future of this school. Is this a sign that change is coming. Has anyone been through the closing of a Catholic school?What normally happens.

The schools enrollment goal is at 255 students. We know have 194 students. That figure decreases every year. The School is already a regional school due to closing of other schools years ago. But our school is outdated. We have no all purpose room, or gym.
 
Fight that closing tooth and nail! That's what I did.

My kids were at a Catholic school in San Antonio, and enrollment declined every year for the prior 4 years I became the PTA president. Then we decided to do something about it.

PM me and I'll give you details...this school went from a near-$100K operating loss to a growth of 60 students in two years...and this year the school just built a new gym.
A completely new school is in the works and should be completed over the next 6-8 years.

Your school can do it to if you fight for it.
