How to Rig an election, part 2

Heres some logic for yea.how do you know the people who voted for Ralph would have voted for Gore?

I don't. I am only saying that to deny that third party candidates have an effect on an election is wrong.

You keep harping on words like "excuse" . I keep telling you I am not trying to look for an excuse for anything. I simply do not know how to say it any more clearly. THIRD PARTY CANDIDATES AFFECT THE OUTCOME. Please take a look at the electoral map I provided. Place your mouse over each state and look at the numbers. Look at Nevada. Bush 45% Kerry 43% Nader 6%. How can anyone logically say that that 6% does not effect the result of Nevada's 5 electoral votes?

On that note I am done. You simply keep trying to move the argument to a place I am not willing to go.

FIK,
its really simple,if Gore would have gotten more votes he would have won.
dont blame Ralph because Gore didnt get the votes.
i have showed you how many people didnt vote, right there is enough votes to make a difference.
i have also showed you how in 3 different states Ralph wasnt even on the ballot,Gore still lost.

you use Nv, whos to say that 6 % will vote for Kerry?
you cant base an outcome on 6% percent of the vote if you dont know who else they would have voted for!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please correct me if im wrong here.

I have said it over and over again. I am not saying they would break for Kerry. If they broke for Bush it could still change the outcome.

Look at Maine......Kerry 46% Bush 45% Nader 5%. Assume it stayed that way. Kerry would get Maine's electoral votes. But with Kerry and Bush 1% apart, should Nader drop out, whichever candidate got the majority of his votes would likely win Maine. If Bush got them, he would win, and the outcome would change.

You keep working from the premise that I am trying to say that if Nader withdrew it would help the democrats. I am saying as plainly as I know how....Nader dropping out would change the outcome.......one way or the other.

if Bush or Kerry dropped out it would change the outcome, lol

even if Ralph does drop out,its not going to change, either Bush or Kerry are still going to win.

the small % of votes he gets can not change the overall totals.

after the election you will see that it will have again come down to the number of people who didnt vote, that will affect the outcome more then anything else.

should Nader drop out, whichever candidate got the majority of his votes would likely win Maine. If Bush got them, he would win, and the outcome would change

unless your a mind reader you cant even say who they would vote for.
so how can you count their votes?
what if they choose not to vote for anyone?
what if the choose to vote for the green party candidate,or the communist,or libertarian party?
FIK,look at the big picture unless you can say who those 5 % are going to vote for, you cant say him dropping out will change anything.
