Thinking of going down later this year, renting an RV and staying at the fort. Problem thus far is everything I can find to rent an RV, the RV would cost as much as everything else combined if not more. Are there any way to get discount codes on renting RVs? We're in western NJ if that's any help.

Thanks

We rented a RV many years ago when we lived in Jersey. Wasn't too cheap then and with the popularity of RVing now I wouldn't expect to find any discounts unless gas and diesel goes up to $4.00/gal. At 8 to 10 mpg and $4.00/gal people might think twice about traveling that way.

RV rentals are scary, so I feel your pain. We looked into it last year before we bought our RV and yikes. By the time they were done charging for every little thing, we could have stayed in a deluxe resort. The only discount I have ever seen was a coupon in the Entertainment Book for Cruise America. I don't have this year's book on me right now, so I can't swear it's in this year's, but I know it was in last year's 'cause we looked into using it. Someone who has their book with them might be able to tell you, otherwise I'll look when I get home.

A local place near us has rentals. It was cheaper than Cruise America (I think) but still pricey. I believe they gave you some kind of credit toward a new camper if you bought within a certain time of returning home.

If you have a truck, it's not that expensive to rent a pop up.

Just curious but how much is it in the Orlando area to rent a pop-up for say 2 weeks?

Thanks
