How to plan with no hours?

I know I can count on all you DISer's to help me out here - I am trying to plan the PS's for our trip in September (19th - 26th). But I am having some trouble with not knowing the park hours. I am anticipating that Spectro/FITS will only be on Saturday night. What about Fantasmic? Illuminations? Are they still every night? If not, where can I figure out what the schedule was last year for the shows, etc? HELP??!!

HAving been in September a couple times, I'd say the following: Count on FITS and Spectro only on Saturday nights. But as for anything else, use these historical hours and worry not about the lack of them. I can get more done between 9 and 5 in September than I can in two long days in July. September is great, even with reduced hours, except for the FITS situation. Also, there's usually only one showing of Fantasmic.

One word of warning: lack of crowds does not extend to MK on a Saturday. Have a wonderfully relaxed Saturday in another park, then take a deep breath and go to MK around 5:30 or so...

I'm going Sept 12-21 and want to plan California Grill dinner in time to watch the fireworks, but have little idea of the time. Also, I didn't know when Fantasmic started so I can plan PS's at MGM.

I guess what I'm saying is I hope someone responds for BOTH of our sakes.

I am soooo envious. I'll end a streak of six September or early October visits this year. But it will be to enjoy the birth of my daughter, so no complaints. But boy, I can't wait to show her the Magic of Disney AND the Magic of September...Enjoy it for me this year!

I just got off the phone making a PS for the California Grill...based on that link you offered.

And I'm jealous of YOU...DH and I have been trying to have a baby for over 3 years now. What I'm hoping is that we come away from this September trip with our own little "souvenir."

Thanks so much! That site was a real help. I will anticipate, based on the past three years, that Illuminations will be every night at 9, Fantasmic every night at 8, and Spectro Saturday night only. I was not planning on spending the day in MK on Saturday, but just going over for the parade. I am thinking Friday (MK/Day of arrival) Then Saturday MGM with MK at night. Does anyone know what the least crowded park on a Saturday is? We are pretty flexible as to what we hit when.

Also, I also have only ever visited the World in September (and my husband is also now a true Spetember junkie) and we a re a little worried that the FTP will increase crowds. What is current thinking on this?

I turned 40 in November. As of my birthday, we went through our third round of chlomid after four years of fertility treatments. When it came up right in time for the Xmas vacation, DW looked at me and said "I don't want to do this anymore." We threw in the towel. She turned up pregnant in January. The point: so many people said this to me and I wouldn't believe them, so now I'll become the irrational voice of semi-reason. The second you quit worrying about it, it happens. And isn't it a wonderful thing?
