How to offend a Jawa

Saw some lady who was interacting with a Jawa at HS and all the sudden she flipped it. Full middle finger to the face. Jawa was not pleased and Jawa's friend came over and kicked the lady out. Weird, but also sort of funny.

My guess is the Jawa didn't want what she was offering or offered her something she didn't like LOL. I didn't know the Jawas traded stuff so didn't have much to offer him. I rooted around in our park bag for a bit and all I could dome up with was...a bandaid. The Jawa was quite put out by my useless offering so he in turn dug around in his bag until he found for me...a hair band. Foot note, I have a pixie cut. LOL!

I was told the key is bright and shiny objects. Daughter tried to trade a spork but he threw it on the ground and ran off. Lol.

I think I have the perfect item to bring him when we go on on our trip later this week...

A blank CD! DH also has a bunch of old electronic bits laying around I might commandeer.

When we went to the Sci-Fi Star Wars breakfast last May I completely forgot the Jawas would be there and we had nothing to trade. I managed to find a paper clip in my bag and, with absolute embarrassment, offered that. They were not happy! (it was so funny!). In return, they gave us some crumpled up stickers. How could you possibly get mad at them?

Last May the Jawas took my granddaughter and wanted my grandson to trade something for her. It was quite funny especially when he told them that he didn't want her back.

That's just rude. There's no reason for that.

We LOVED the Jawas. My DS3 kept going back and then going to different ones to retrade what he just got (there were 3 when we were there). They must have liked the stuff we brought because one of them tried to rifle though my backpack. It was great fun.

Just wanted to say great title. Stories are fun too. On a slightly sad note, evidently I'm shrinking because at the Dark Side half, I finally got a pic with a Jawa and I'm only slightly taller than him.... :/. LOL!!

I had one pickpocket me. I had a park map in my back pocket. A Jawa grabbed it, examined it, then threw it back at me and stormed off. Apparently it wasn't worth anything. LOL DH traded a magnet and got a paperclip. I think the Jawas are one of the best additions in a long time.

I had the best experience with a Jawa at the Sci-Fi Star Wars breakfast. I traded my friend! They made her come with them to visit like 6-7 families and she had to take photos with them. Her food came out and they still would not let her go. I finally had to give up my birthday pin for my friend so she could come back and eat.

We love the jawas! For our last trip we specifically bought stuff to trade and of course we forgot it home! So we had to improvise MIL keep trying to find things in her purse to trade finally they traded a marvel for a small plastic cup (shot size) . I had the BB8 plastic cup and they wanted to trade for that they took it away from me a couple times it was funny but eventually the handler made it give it back. Maybe I'll try to trade my husband next time.

Seriously why would people be mean to the Jawas?

We're going in December and I found (at the $ store) a shopping bag with Jawa on it (all Star Wars stuff out now, ya know?)... Anyway, I bought some sparkle fabric paint to highlight his "eyes". Also found a light up ball. I'm so excited, plan a fun time trading stuff! As I find more, I'm planning to add it to our Disney tote. Also have sparkly pins found at Goodwill for Minnie and Daisy at Minnie's Holiday Dine. (No trade, just give to them!)

They occasionally roam around Star Wars launch bay in the cantina area, or as I like to call it, 'area that boba fett should be instead of the jawas but nope'

We forgot a trade item but as the Jawa was trying to dig into my cargo pocket my fiance found a nice looking silver pen from or work. In return we got an empty easter egg that we later traded for a gold coin. We were going to trade again but we saw thi s little girl who didn't have anything to trade. We gave her the coin and she got a really nice looking pin out of the deal.the Jawa had to go into his bag several times to get the pin

We forgot to bring trinkets trade at the Star Wars breakfast and offered some airplane peanuts. They weren't impressed.

I heard that jawa trading rules were changed. I do not have specifics. But I will ask at Launch Bay today when I'm there.
