I had my gallbladder removed over a year ago and have had major complications. I can barely eat anything without horrible abdominal pain. I have lost over 100 pounds. I am on a pain management plan, but the doctors don't think I will be up to eating a normal meal by the time I go to WDW.

Question: I am on the disney dining plan and how do you explain to the people I love the food, but just can't eat it? All I can do is sample it.

You don't need to explain anything to anyone. If you mean the servers, and you feel compelled to answer, just say what you said here: "It's good, but I can only eat a little bit". Many people with bariatric surgery eat very, very little. You won't be odd at all.

If you mean your dining companions, if you know them well, just stare at them, or say, "I can't believe you're saying that". If you don't know them well, just use the same response you use for servers.
