How to get to Hoop Dee Doo

Ok, I've gone there before and I know that the easiest way (IMO) is to take the boat from Magic Kingdom to the Fort Wilderness Campground. Well, what if you are at Wilderness Lodge? Is there any better way than taking the boat to MK and then another boat to the campground?

There is a boat directly from the Wilderness Lodge to Fort Wilderness. No need to go to Magic Kingdom.

there is a walkway between the 2 resorts that is .6 or .7 miles. you can do the nature or the pathway. its a nice and easy walk but there are no lights to help after dark. there are also buses between the 2 sites

Will the bus from Wilderness lodge take you to the front of Ft Wilderness, or the back near Pioneer Hall?


I guess I have the same question for the walking path.

The bus will take you to the front of FtW. I 'believe' the walking path takes you to the same area as Pioneer Hall.

The walking path takes you to the settlement area(where HDDR is). The internal FW bus that goes out to WL goes to Settelment, any shared park buses go out to the front of FW, so those would not work. The boat runs counterclockwise after 3pm, going WL>FW>CR>WL in the morning the route is clockwise.
