It stops just over the road from the market place. The signs for the stops have a pink paw on them.
No problem: bought our bus passes today. $16 for 7 days * 2 people = $32. That's the equivalent of less than 3 days' worth of parking charges![]()
Thanks for this. Which part of the marketplace are the stops near to? Are they clearly signposted?![]()
Thanks for all the info. Just a few more questions - How much does it cost for a day ticket? How much is a child's ticket?
Would love a sticky on this.
Singles are $2 for an adult BUT you can connect to another Lynx bus in the same direction within 90 minutes if you ask for a transfer when you first get on the bus (e.g. you could catch the 50 from the TTC to Sea World and then use the transfer to catch the 8 from SW to I-Drive for no additional charge)
On our bus sticky thread (!) could we also have transfers listed? I looked on the Lynx website but the routes were not that clear to follow when you have to keep zooming in and out to read!
For example, what bus(es) would I need to catch to go to universal / IoA? I couldn't make out whether there was a direct route or not![]()
Thanks for the explanation and the map Kath! I'm a bit mad, I like to know exactly what I'm doing and where I'm going beforehand!!![]()
Yep, I could do the common routes.
There's no direct route for Universal: take the 50 from the TTC to Sea World, free transfer to the 8 bus to Wet 'n' Wild and then it's a 10 minute walk from there.![]()
Thanks Kath, this is brilliant. I'm going to plan a shopping day by bus.I'll take a photo next time
As far as I remember, we walked pass where the Disney buses collect and drop off, crossed the road at the crossing nearby and were then immediately at the bus stop. The signs are bright PINK and have a paw print on them. You won't miss it.
Here, I went to Google maps and got a screen shot.
The pink X is where the Disney buses pull in.
The blue line shows you where to walk (it's about 50 yards in total).
The yellow blob denotes the Lynx bus stop.
If you go to Google streetview you can see people stood at that bus stop!

Day passes are $4.50, so if you're going to make more than one round-trip per day, it's worth it.
Child fares are half the cost of adult fares; children under 6 are free.
The buses require exact change but they do take notes.
We are thinking of getting the 111 to Destination Parkway, walking to Sea World and then getting a taxi to Universal Studios, to cut costs. Could anyone please tell me how long it takes to walk to Sea World from the Destination Parkway stop?
Why don't you just get the 50 from Disney direct to Sea World? From the same bus stop you can catch the 8 at no additional cost right the way up to Wet 'n' Wild. A cab from there would be around $5, or you can take a 10 minute walk.
The "Destination Parkway" is about a 10 minute walk to Sea World. Even if you choose to get a cab from Sea World, you may as well take the 50 bus straight to Sea World - the 50 and the 111 run exactly the same route inside WDW.
Thanks Kath, I wasn't aware of the 50. This obviously makes more sense! Is the 10 minute walk from Wet 'n' Wild an easy one, i.e. is it via busy roads?
There are three roads to cross, all with traffic lights & pedestrian crossings. It's illegal to cross the street without using a crossing! I have never had any problems and must have walked this route 20-30 times by now.
