How to get to Aquarium of the Pacific if staying in Anaheim?

We decided against renting a car, we can't believe how expensive car rentals are in Anaheim, wow. We are doing the ART system and getting a shuttle to and from the airport to our hotel, but we don't know how we are going to get to the aquarium of the pacific as it is not on the ART line and taking an Uber there is $60. What is the cheapest way to get there??

Probably, least expensive will be taking a bus, but you will have to invest significant time due to transfers.

Everything is so spread out here my recommendation is to budget for a rental car. I would check agencies near the airports for better rates.

Rent a car. By the time you factor in all the fees you will pay for airport shuttles, uber, art, etc, you will be glad you have a car. Public transit here is SLOW. Rent at the airport for cheapest prices.

The answer to your actual question is: a car. There is really no other feasible way to get there from Anaheim. It's far.

We are renting a car for 1 day to go from Anaheim to La Brea Tar Pits and maybe one of the beaches. It's about $40 for the one day rental from Alamo at Downtown Disney.
