How to get room we want at resort.

Hi all! New and so happy to be here! We will be going back to WDW in September, staying at Wilderness Lodge. We got the ideal room the first time we were there. How do we get that section or room again? When I made reservations last year, they stuck us in the other section because it was still called pool view. I had called many, many times requesting a certain section and room and they put us someplace completely different! I understand there are no room guarantees, but what is the best way to at least make it most likely to happen? Thanks for the help. Going in September!

I believe that you can call about 60 days out and request a certian section of the Resort. I believe that is correct. However, that does not guarantee you will get it.

Others correct me if I am wrong.

I have my requested room location noted on my reservation, and I plan on faxing a written request to the resort about 5 days before arrival. I understand that this sometimes works, but unless you pay for the preferred view that you want, it is based on availability.

Thanks for the help... I did pay for the courtyard view, they just put us in a different courtyard (not as nice as the original one)! I like that idea...to fax a request as well next time.
