I know it offers no extra to the card but looks so much easier to use during FP/dining/buying

Is it possible for a non Disney resort user to get magic band

How much would I have to pay?

Where can I get it?

Cheers

Yes, you can get one regardless if you're staying on property or not. We never stay on property

You can order them right from Disney's website. Or pretty much every gift shop and kiosk in WDW sells them. Most of them will be able to assist you in linking your Magic Band to your ticket/card. If you're not staying on property, I don't think you can use it to buy food or merchandise, but it works for park admission and FP+.

They cost something like $15-$25 each depending on what you want. You can customize them if you want to spend more $$$

Plain ones are currently 12.99 om the Disney store website. https://www.disneystore.com/disneys...ortProductsPriceLowToHigh&productDims=1024701

or you can buy them at the parks. Like Klayfish said, you cannot use them for dining or buying if you are not staying at a Disney resort.

Yeah park admission and fast pass be ok actually, I found it rather annoying carrying the party's cards (had a neck strap on and having to pull my top up each time just to get the cards out as I had no pockets)

I look on website for the cheapest one thanks lol

The seven solid color MagicBands sell for $12.99 plus tax. You can find them at many gift shops around WDW. If you have a US mailing address, you can purchase MagicBands from disneystore.com/magicbands.

Huh. I find MBs to be less easy and more awkward. Twisting the wrist all around to match up Mickey heads is annoying. Put it on the wrist so it works for the "tapstyle" and then it's wrong for purchases and I have yet to work the room door with it on.

But all you'll get is FP+ and admission.

Why...why did you have everyone's cards and why were you pulling up your top?

Disney still sells lanyards (for pin collecting now) and you can get plastic pouches, and everyone could get one for around the cost of a MB each, and then you just keep it OUTSIDE your clothing and tap that to the Mickey heads. Lanyard/pouch/ticket combo worked well for many years, and still works well.
