Alright. We just planned a kinda "last minute" trip within the past few days for March 3 - 7. Our flight on the 7th is for 630 AM (we have to get back for class :teacher: at 9 :sad2: ). We are staying at Pop Century so I was wondering if the Magical Express will be available to us. If not, do ya'll have any suggestions as to how we can be at the airport for 530ish? BTW we are flying Southwest. Thanks in advance to any help.

That's a tough one. The DME desk doesn't open until 5, it takes at least 30 minutes to get to the airport..you might do okay, but it's cutting it kinda close. You might be better off taking a cab or hiring a towncar for only the return to MCO.

Disney's Magical Express is a 24-hour operation, so, yes, you and your luggage can travel back to the airport from the Pop Century Resort on a Disney's Magical Express motorcoach. Your pick-up time will be approximately 3 hours before your flight departure. Make reservations soon.

Regarding the reply that "The DME desk doesn't open until 5," it's the Remote Airline Check-in desk that doesn't open until 5:00 a.m. Southwest doesn't participate in Remote Airline Check-in anyway, so that's not a factor at all.

I suspect some folks with early flights might stay up late at Pleasure Island, say until 1:30, then be back at the resort around 2, then hang around until the Magical Express bus comes a little before 3:30 AM which is your pickup time.

Or you could do this: Book an airport area hotel for the last night, name a flight, any flight, any airline leaving late that last evening for your ME reservation. You'll probably be on the ME bus out of Disney around 7 PM since I don't think there are any flights that depart after 10 PM. Less early morning hassle and anxiety this way I think.

thank ya'll for the advice...3:30 is REALLY early or late...i like the idea of booking a hotel close to the airport for the last night..
