:confused: We will be traveling from Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness by boat for Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. Now, I can't figure out how we can go directly back to our resort which is the Caribbean Beach. I am hoping to avoid going back to Magic Kingdom and taking the bus. We will have a rental car... should we just drive?? I am correct in taking a boat from MK to FW right?
Thanks.::MinnieMo

We had the same problem on our last visit. The problem is that you can't go directly from FW to CBR (or directly from any resort to another, in most cases). If you can go back to the MK via boat depends on which HDDR show you go to, because at some point the boats stop running.

If you can't go directly back to the MK via boat, you have to take one of the internal FW buses from HDDR to the Outpost, then the quickest way back is to take a bus from there to DTD. From DTD you can get a bus back to CBR.

If you have a car, it might not be a bad idea.

That seems like a lot of switching, will it take a long time to get to CBR? I was thinking maybe I should plan another activity after the Hoop Dee Doo, but now maybe.....I'll just ride buses !!

If you drive your car you will still have to use the internal campground transportation. you must park at the outpost area and bus to the settlement area.

REMEMBER: that all internal buses (colors)go to the settlement bus stop. I know the signs said use the yellow bus for HDDR but they all go there.

It was a little funny watching all the HDDR people waiting for the yellow buses. Some said they have waited 1+hrs for the yellow buses because not everyone would fit on the first 3 buses that came by.

I told a couple of familys from England to follow us on the orange or purple bus but they would not. Then they seamed surprised to see us leaving the trails-end buffet just having finished our diner as they arrived at the HDDR check-in.
