Though you have a lovely idea of treating your mother to a nice vacation, I do have to agree with what the others have been saying about your situation. Now does not seem like the best time to take a vacation. Would you really enjoy yourself knowing that your mom is not at all into a trip, and that your father is not supportive of it, and besides that, you have to look for a job when you come home? The cards don't seem like they are in your favor for this trip. You will definetly enjoy it and appreciate it more when you go with your own money and travel with others who love Disney World as much as you do. You do seem genuinely concerned that your mom needs a vacation, so why not let her choose a destination (besides Vegas--do that next year when you're 21!) that is close and affordable? I'm almost 23, so we're pretty close in age. I've been fortunate enough to have gone to Disney with my boyfriend for the past three years, but it was only because we could afford it. I would never have gone if I had to rely on my parents, nor would I have gone with someone who is not even into the trip. Think twice about this one. Wait until you are financially secure, and wait until you have someone who wants to go as much as you do. Let us know what you decide to do!
